Terms of use IB Lounge
Dear student,
Please have a read through our terms of tutoring services here at IB Lounge.
By engaging our services, you agree to the following:
General
That IB Lounge will not be liable for any physical or emotional damages that may arise during the course of the lessons or at our premises.
That IB Lounge, to the best of its knowledge and capacity will continuously attempt to protect its students physically and emotionally during the course of its operations or while students are at its premises. However, that it may not be able to do so all the time. However, that it may not be able to do so all the time due to unforeseen circumstances or circumstances out of our control.
Responsibilities of students
To have read through the IB Lounge Student handbook and to follow the guidelines provided within.
To not distribute, sell or copy any resources or materials given by IB Lounge to third parties not part of the particular IB Lounge class that you are attending.
To provide ample notice (3 days) in the event of not being able to attend class, exceptions include emergencies.
To provide individual discipline to complete assignments and own revision as advised by the tutor.
To recognise that tuition is not a sure-fire guarantee to achieve good grades but requires the hard work from students themselves.
To understand that a student should be largely responsible for his/her own academic achievements and that tuition can only provide guidance in the right direction.
To pay fees punctually and if students are not the person that will be paying, to remind their parents/guardians to do so.
To take care of our premises and to keep it clean. This includes not stealing from, vandalising or littering the area.
To show respect to tutors and other students.
Media:
To give IB Lounge the permission to capture, store and use for marketing purposes, photographs, videos and other media taken at our premises (where IB Lounge conducts its business operations) as well as during the course of our business operations (e.g. during classes or interactions with students and tutors).
To explicitly inform IB Lounge if you would not like media with yourself included to be used for marketing purposes.
To personally uphold the PDPA relating to other students, parents and tutors.
